Cité du Temps

Cité du Temps is smaller building well recognized thanks to it's neon blue sign, standing where the Rhône River is leaving Geneva Lake, in the very center of Geneva. The free expositions are worth a visit when you are walking around. Building has an interesting history and views from windows oversee river Rhône and old water level regulation machines.

Swiss watches exposition

There is a permanent exhibition of famous Swiss watch brand - Swatch, located on the top floor. Exposition is currated into timeline, mapping evolution of Swatch watches over last few decades, until present day. The exposition is fairly small but still worth the visit.

Temporary art exposition

On the first floor, on both sides of the restaurant are located two rooms hosting temporary exhibitions and galleries, whos exhibits are changing usually once a month. Even returning visitors will always find fresh inspiration in new topics and subjects. Exposition usually focuses on given topics, displaying art works from various artists with different styles and techniques, from both Switzerland and abroad.

Price: free. possibility to buy displayed artworks.
