Cinemas
Like anywhere else nowadays, you'll find all the latest highest grossing blockbusters in the big cinemas such as Pathé at Balexert, but the real deal is Geneva's unconditional love for art house cinema. Don't shy away from venturing across town in search of that cinema you heard of, it is worth it.
High prices are the downside of the cinema experience in Geneva and more generally Switzerland though choosing the right day and film can reduce costs significantly.
