Walk street Chemin du Bois Meriguet, going through the bridge (over highway) into the forest, where marked trail starts. Trail then winds up a very steep incline to the small village of Monnetier and then continuing up to Saleve, towards the upper cable car station.
2) Grande Gorge
Difficulty: High
Track starts with mild incline through the forest, which changes for more steep incline later on. Part of the road among the rocks has iron railings, at one point be careful not to roll down small rocks onto people walking under you.
This is one of fastest and most straight way to get up, with few good views. Hike gets You to Observatory.
