Café Remor

With a perfect central location of Plainpalais, believe us or not, but this café is not just an ordinary café with a restaurant and pâtisserie. Café Remor is a favorite meeting point for most of the locals, drinking their coffee or beer sitting and talking there for hours, or customers on a daily basis eating their meal while reading newspapers. Usually, it is always very busy and crowded, so do not be surprised if you will not find there place any time of day.

Old school and retro styled decoration and furniture gives this café its unique ambiance, which is hardly found anywhere else in Geneva. Very specific friendly and pleasant atmosphere helps customers to feel there like at home and create a very special place in Geneva, from where you won't feel to leave so early.

Only downside is that service is usually a bit slow, especially when it's too crowded. Moreover, it can sometimes happen that they will ignore you, when it gets really full. On the other hand at least the kitchen is very fast and they serve fantastic hamburgers.

As mentioned above, Café Remor is great located, the prices are quite low for Geneva, comparing with most of the bars and cafés situated in the center of the city. Definitely recommended and worth visiting.
